The Greater Darwin Land Use Plan – Towards 2030 outlines strategies to deliver a range of sustainable residential options and forecasts the release and development of commercial and industrial land to support the region’s growth potential. It will help shape the social, residential and economic growth of the region for the next 15 years.
Elton Consulting is the lead consultant in the consortium of multidisciplinary consultants working on the project for the NT Department of Lands and Planning. As well as the core role of project management and oversight, Elton has undertaken the strategic and statutory planning aspects of the project along with social planning, environmental and sustainability strategy, and community consultation.
The Northern Territory government launched the Greater Darwin Land Use Plan – Towards 2030 for public consultation in February 2011.
