Rachel Trigg has over twelve years’ experience working in State and Local Government, with significant and recent senior professional expertise in the fields of integrated planning and reporting, corporate planning, project management and place management.
Prior to joining Elton Consulting, Rachel’s role as the Manager of Corporate Development at Marrickville Council involved responsibility for managing a team to deliver Council’s integrated planning and reporting, as well as managing Council’s communications and community engagement activities and coordinating a wide range of corporate projects. Rachel wrote the Community Strategic Plan and also had responsibility for preparation of strategic plans at Waverley and Parramatta Councils.
Rachel wrote the first 10 year Financial Strategy at Waverley Council and had significant responsibility integrating a diversity of work to write the successful Asset Investment Strategy. Rachel also worked for several years as a Place Manager for Parramatta Council and was a lecturer in social and town planning at the University of New South Wales in the School of the Built Environment. Rachel’s early experience was as an urban planner at the City of Perth and the Ministry for Planning in WA.
Rachel holds a PhD from the University of NSW.
