Citizenship
Looking
at Perceptions of Citizenship among Young People
Youth & Citizenship
is a nationwide project researching the perceptions of
citizenship held by young people around the country; how young
people engage with the concept of citizenship; how citizenship
is conveyed to young people; and investigating any correlating
factors. The project will be carried out over the next year
with reporting in October 2003. It will involve intensive
consultation with young people and will be conducted using
qualitative and quantitative methods including interviews,
focus groups and surveys.
