Are you a Project Officer interested in consulting and communicating with the community?

Elton Consulting is seeking a project officer to work on a diverse range of community engagement and other projects right across the business.

Our work is often strategic, but always underpinned by practical pathways to achieve the client’s objectives. We are currently working on exciting, high profile projects.

You will be working with senior staff to organise the logistics of large and small community engagements such as workshops and information days. You will set up projects in our administrative systems, organise venues, prepare letters and draft project newsletters and be in contact with residents and other stakeholders as well as clients. You will undertake the administrative, organisational and communications tasks that are key to creating successful events. You will attend and actively contribute to some events. Project support across our diverse business will also be part of the role.

Requirements for this role include strong administrative and organisational experience preferably at an executive level, great verbal and written communication skills and a strong track record of achievement. We are looking for someone who is flexible and motivated, able to act with initiative and as part of a team. You will demonstrate ability to manage deadlines and prioritise competing tasks. You will have good IT skills. You may have had experience in event management.
