Bronte Catchment Project


The Bronte Catchment Project aimed to support, develop and evaluate inclusive community and organisational approaches to improve water quality at Bronte Beach.

Bronte Catchment Project was joint overall winner of Lgov's 2001/02 Stormwater Management Award 

Also, it was Highly Commended at the 2002 
R H Dougherty Award for Excellence in Communication

This Project was a Waverley Council initiative and was supported by local community groups such as Keep Bronte Beautiful, Bronte, Bronte Beach, and Charing Cross Precinct Committees, Bronte Gully and Calga Reserve Bushcare groups and the Bronte Surf Life Saving Club. This project was hosted by Elton Consulting as a non-profit project and managed by Associate Director, Roberta Ryan. This Project has been assisted by the New South Wales Government through its Stormwater Trust.
