Community Engagement Guidelines for the NSW Planning System

The aim of the was to improve the quality of community engagement acrosprojects a range of planning, development and natural resource sectors. Guidelines were written in non-technical language and to provide frameworks for community consultation – no matter how big or small the project budget. The guidelines were produced as an on-line resource in addition to hardcopy. The guidelines are of particular relevance to planners working at local, state and regional level, but they can also assist the development industry, business, residents, interest groups and community organisations.
