Exhibition

The Draft DCP and Master Plan were on display at the following locations from 30 October to 27 November 2007:

Campbelltown City Council Offices, Planning and Environment Division (Corner of Queen and Broughton Streets, Campbelltown 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday)

H. J Daley Central Library (Corner Hurley Street and Camden Road – 9.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, Saturday 9.00am to 4.00pm)

As part of the statutory public exhibition process the public were able to make comment regarding the UWS Campbelltown proposal by making a written submission to Campbelltown City Council.

The deadline for public submissions was Tuesday 27 November 2007.

The public exhibition of the DCP and Master Plan was complimented by community consultation with local residents and businesses that began in 2005. Consultation activities were independently facilitated by community engagement specialists Elton Consulting and included the distribution of a number of community newsletters and community information and feedback sessions on 2005 and November 2007.

Following the close of the exhibition period, public submissions were reviewed and considered by Council. A decision by Council on the DCP is due in late 2008.
