This website has been prepared by UWS and Landcom to support the exhibition of a Draft Development Control Plan (DCP) and Master Plan lodged with Campbelltown City Council.
About the Project
The University of Western Sydney (UWS) is a large comprehensive metropolitan University with a growing international standing, serving a diverse urban region.
A key element of the UWS Strategic Plan is to build a network of campuses, sites and centres to realise the University's vision for excellence in learning, research and community engagement in Greater Western Sydney.
Consistent with this strategy, the University is working to locate and organise its academic programs and research activities across the campus network to create a superior student experience, develop world-class focused research and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with the Region. At the same time, the University is leveraging its campus land to provide resources for its strategic investment plans.
The comprehensive planning process, which involved consultation with a range of stakeholders, has resulted in a plan which proposes an integrated urban environment comprising:
Accordingly UWS and Landcom together have prepared a Draft DCP and Master Plan for both parcels of land (the site).
This website is designed to give you an overview of the key elements of the DCP which has been submitted to Campbelltown City Council and is currently on exhibition.
